How Honda Copy Motorcycles Disappeared from Vietnamese Market
In-House Community | 18/07/2014
Around 10 years ago, there were many Chinese products in Vietnam such as rice, milk, candy, rubber and especially motorcycles, which infringed on Honda’s designs (“Copy M/C”). However, these Copy M/Cs have almost disappeared from the market.
In the early phase, the Copy M/Cs were imported directly from China, all of which were imitated industrial designs of Honda’s Wave α and Dream models. Later, the Copy M/Cs were manufactured and assembled inland and copied virtually all of the best-selling series of Honda such as Wave RS, Wave RSX, Future Neo, Click, Air Blade, etc.
