Announcement on the application of Nice Classification NCL(11-2021)

Nice Classification NCL (11-2021) will enter into force on 1 January 2021. This Classification has been translated into Vietnamese by the National Office of Intellectual Property (IP Vietnam) and now is available in the Industrial Property Gazette No. 392B - Volume 3, November 25, 2020 and on websites of the IP Vietnam (www.ipvietnam.gov.vn).
NCL(11-2021) will be applied to the classification of goods and services for trademark registration in Vietnam from January 1, 2021.
It should be noted that, the applicants who incorrectly classify goods/services in their applications will have their goods/services reclassified by IP Vietnam and must pay additional fees as prescribed./.
