Applied-for mark  “Allunee, figure” is being opposed

CHANEL (FR), the owner of Intl’ three-dimensional mark registration No.670700 “Allure, perfume bottle image” for perfume products  in Class 03 has petitioned with the IP Vietnam to oppose the VN trademark application 4-2021-43345 ”Allunee, figure” sought for registration of “perfume; lotion; non-medicated personal hygiene solutions; cleanser; shower gel” in Class 03 and other products in Class 05 on the grounds that the objected applied-for  mark is confusingly similar to the cited trademark already registered,  namely (i) the word element “Allunee” in the applied-for mark and the word element “Allure” in the cited mark are similar in appearance and pronunciation,  and (ii) the products both marks registered for are identical and/or similar and have the same distribution channel in market.

The case is being handled by the IP Vietnam./.
