Applied-for mark  “AROHE, figure” is being opposed

Grohe AG., addressed at Industriepark Edelburg, 58675 Hemer, (DE), owner of VN Trademark Registration No. 272348 “GROHE”, Intl’ Registrations No. 1384073 “GROHE” and No.602955 “GROHE, figure” (the cited marks) for protection of products in Class 11, 21 and other classes has petitioned with the IP Vietnam to oppose national (VN) applied-for mark application No.4-2022-22482  “AROHE, figure” (the applied-for mark”) for protection of products “sanitary devices and instruments: toilet, washbasin (lavabo), lavabo faucet..." in Class 11 and services of trading, importing and exporting sanitary devices and instruments: showers, lavabo faucets... in Class 35 on the grounds of confusing similarity to the earlier cited marks , in particular (i) the products covered by these marks are identical and/or similar or related to each other, and (ii) the marks are similar in respect of structure, visual and phonetic impression.

The case is being handled by the IP Vietnam./.
