Applied-for mark  “DURAVIT, figure” is being opposed

DURAVIT AG, headquartered at 36, Werderstrasse, 78132 HORNBERG (DE), owner of International Registration of Marks no 116401- DURAVIT; no.612591- “DURAVIT, figure” and no. 612592 – “DURAVIT, figure”, currently in effect  in Vietnam for products in Class 06, 11, 20 & 21Class 41 (the cited trademark) has petitioned with the IP Vietnam to oppose national (VN) applied-for mark application No. 4-2022-10142 - “DURAVIT, figure”, for protection of products ” "toilet; urinal, sink; bathtub equipment; bathtub accessories; bathtub pipe fitting accessories"  in Class 11 on the grounds that the applied-for mark is confusingly similar to the cited mark already registered, in particular (i) the products in Class 11bearing the applied-for mark and the cited marks already registered are identical or similar, and (ii) the applied-for mark are similar to the cited mark.

The case is being handled by the IP Vietnam./.
