Applied-for mark "HD.Duck, figure" is being partially opposed.
Authorized by and representing SC Johnson & Son, Inc., Pham and Associates has petitioned with the IP Vietnam to oppose a part of application No. 4-2021-38928 “HD.Duck, figure” sought for registration of “Detergent: washing water; dishwashing liquid; hand wash; bleach; cosmetics" belongs in Class 03 and "Trading services, advertising services, import-export services: cosmetics, cosmetic chemicals, detergents: washing liquid, dishwashing liquid, hand sanitizer, bleach" in Class 35 on the ground that the intended mark is confusingly similar to the already existing registered marks “DUCK” and “DUCK, figure” of Duck Global Licensing AG (Duck Global Licensing SA; Duck Global Licensing Ltd.)
Specifically, the appearance, pronunciation, meaning and overall impression of the applied mark and the reference marks are similar and registered for identical/similar products/services.
