Applied-for mark “SMARTSOIL” is being opposed

LESAFFRE ET COMPAGNIE, the owner of International Registration No.1482088 “SMARTFOIL” has petitioned with the IP Vietnam to oppose the applied-for mark under application No.4-2021-26152 “SMARTSOIL” sought for registration for “Insecticide preparations; fungicides for horticultural purposes; fungicides for agriculture; fungicides to destroy pests; herbicides used in agriculture; pesticides used in agriculture” in Class 05 on the grounds of confusing similarity to the LESAFFRE ET COMPAGNIE’s earlier trademark registered for the similar products in the same Class 05.
The case is being reviewed by the IP Vietnam./.
