Applied-for mark “CARLOTTA” is being opposed

Grounds: Article 74.2(e) and 112, IP Law
HIM CO LAB S.R.L, addressed at Via Orobia 34, I-20139 Milano (IT), owner of Intl’ Registration No.1576258 “CARLOTHARAY” (the cited mark) for protection of products in Class 03 has petitioned with the IP Vietnam to oppose the VN applied-for mark application No. 4-2022-23653 “CARLOTTA” (the applied-for mark”) for protection of products “Cosmetics; liquid aromatic preparations for cosmetic purposes; soap; perfume..." in Class 03 on the grounds of confusing similarity to the earlier cited mark “CARLOTHARAY”, in particular (i) the products covered by these marks are identical and/or similar, and (ii) the marks are similar in respect of structure, visual and phonetic impression.
The case is being handled by the IP Vietnam./.
