“COCO” vs. “COCO NH5 GLOBAL, figure”

On behalf of and authorized by the owner of mark COCO under International Registration No. 363419 being protected in Vietnam, Pham and Associates objected to the application for registration of the mark "COCO NH5 GLOBAL, figure” for products of Class 03 and other Classes on the grounds that the latter, consisting of words combined with designs, in which the word element “NH5” cannot be pronounced, the word element “” GLOBAL” is not distinctive and describing products that the mark is sought for registration and the dominant character “COCO” is identical to the cited prior mark.
The case is being handled by the IP Vietnam.
