“COCO” vs. “LEETHI COCO, figure”

On behalf of and authorized by the owner of mark COCO under International Registration No. 363419 being protected in Vietnam, Pham and Associates has petitioned with the IP Vietnam to oppose the application No.4-2022-07884 “LEETHI COCO, hình” sought for registration of product “ các sản phẩm “cosmetics, cosmetic sets: flavorings (essential oils); perfume; lipstick; cosmetic cream” in Class 03 on the grounds that the contested mark is confusingly similar to the cited prior mark “COCO”, namely (i) they are similar in their structure, pronunciation and visual impression, and (ii) the products and services bearing these two marks are identical and similar.
The case is being handled by the IP Vietnam.
