“dimchae, cook, figure” is accepted for registration

The applied-for mark “dimchae, cook, figure” under international registration No. 1295404 of Dayou Wini Co.,Ltd., (KR) has been temporarily refused for registration by the IP Vietnam on the ground of confusing similarity with the cited mark “DIMCHAE”.

The applicant appealed because the cited mark “DIMCHAE” has been transferred to himself, so there is no longer a barrier for “dimchae, cook, picture” to apply for protection.

NOIP revoked its previous refusal and issued a decision to register the mark.
