Mark "PA Pham & Associates, figure”  in Vietnam’s Top 50 Well-known Marks 2024

On the morning of July 31, 2024 in Hanoi, the ceremony of honoring and awarding the Certificate of Top 50 Vietnam's Well-known Marks took place within the framework of the "Program to vote and promote Vietnam's leading Marks - Top 50 Well-known Marks in Vietnam in 2024”.

This program is organized annually by the Vietnam Intellectual Property Association  (VIPA)  and 2024 also marks the 16th successful year of the Program.

There were a number of businesses, including limited liability companies, joint stock companies, partnerships and domestic private enterprises participating in the Program, which lasted for 3 months, from 1 April to 30 June 2024. The Voting Council has selected 60 highly reputable brands/trademarks, trusted by customers, in thr field of goods-production and services-provision to honor and grant Certificates.

The trademark "PA Pham & Associates, figure" of Pham & Associates Law Firm Co. Ltd., (formerly Pham & Associates Law Office), registered for “Participation in legal proceedings; Legal counseling; Industrial property and Copyright and related rights Representation services; Non-proceedings representation; Other legal services” again ranked in the Vietnam's Top 50 leading well-known trademarks. This is also the 7th consecutive time and the only intellectual property law firm in Vietnam to be honored as such so far.

The selection and recognition of well-known statue of a mark is based on Article 75. Criteria for evaluation of well-known marks of the Intellectual Property Law. Accordingly, a trademark to be recognized as well-known must meet a number of criteria such as: (i) the mark has been known by relevant consumers through the purchase, sale and use of the goods or services bearing the mark or through advertising, (ii) the territories in which the goods or services bearing the mark have been or are being used, (iii) the sales volume or quantity of services provided under the trademark is large, (iv) the mark has been used continuously for many years, and (v) the goods or services bearing the mark have a good reputation. Not only that, the Selection Council also requires trademark owners to have environmentally friendly products and services, fulfill tax obligations and actively participate in social activities etc.

It’s noteworthy that, the mark "PA Pham & Associates, figure" was also co-recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the International Trademark Association (INTA) well-known mark in their Co-Program of Selecting well-known marks in Vietnam held in years 2016-2017./.
