Trademark application “KARERIA” is being opposed

Karelia Tobacco Company, Inc., the owner of VN.Reg.268929 “KARELIA” for products in Class 34 has petitioned with the IP Vietnam to oppose applied-for trademark application No.4-2021-25458 “KARERIA” sought for registration for products “cigarettes; cigar; chewing tobacco; cigarette box; filter for cigarettes; cigarette pipe" in Class 34 on the ground of confusing similarity to the earlier mark “KARELIA” registered for similar products in the same Class 34.
The case is being reviewed by the IP Vietnam./.
