APAA 17th General Assembly and 64th & 65th Council Meetings successfully ended

The 17th General Assembly, 64th & 65th Council Meetings of the APAA was successfully held in Okinawa, the southernmost prefecture of Japan, from 13-17 November 2015. In contrast to serious administrative and business centers like Tokyo and Osaka, Okinawa is a subtropical holiday haven known for its easy living and healthy lifestyle though maintaining the culture of Japanese mainland. Okinawa has its unique Institute of Science & Technology (OIST), which is a graduate university for nurturing independence of thought and technology clusters.

Reports and discussions of the APAA’s Standing Committees and APAA Recognized Groups focused    on various IP issues, covering patent, trademark, design, copyright, anti-counterfeiting and emerging IP rights.
