Client/Legal Alert: Decree No. 120/2014/ND-CP Guides Catalog of Encouraged, Restricted and Prohibited Technology Imports
On December 17.2014, the Government issued Decree No. 120/2014/ND-CP which has provided new version of catalog of encouraged, restricted and prohibited technology imports replacing the old catalog released in 2008.
Accordingly, the Decree provides the list of 50 encouraged technologies, 23 restricted technologies and 30 prohibited technology imports. The list of prohibited technology to serve the purpose of scientific research and special technologies development will be decided by the Prime Minister.
