“Pham & Associates, fugure” is recognized as a well-known mark in Vietnam

The Programme of Voting Vietnam Well-known trademark – Competitive Trademark 2018  was organized by the Vietnam Intellectual Property Association (VIPA) for the first time in 2006 and became the annual awardfor recognizing and honoring organizations/companies with excellent performance in production, businessdoing and providing services that are favored by consumers and,  at the same time,  raising public awareness of protection of intellectual property (IP) - one of the most important assets of any company and the country in economic development and global integration.

In 2018, the program honored 100 famous trademark.The trademark “Pham & Associates, fugure” used for intellectual property legal counselling and representating servies regarding IP right prosecution, litigation and dispute resolution, copyright and related rights, technology transfer, participation in legal proceedings in the capacity as a representative or protector of the legitimate rights and interests of the involved parties in civil cases and supplying information related to intellectual property has been recognized as a well-known trademark and is in the Vietnam Top 50 leading well-known trademarks.

The assessment for recognition of well-known trademarks in this Program is carried out by a Advisory Board of which members are leading experts from the National Office of Intellectual Property, Vietnam Intellectual Property Research Institute, Vietnam Small and Medium Enterprise Association and Vietnam Standards and Consumer Protection Association, on the basis of Article 75."Criteria for the assessment of well-known trademarkmarks" of the Law on Intellectual Property of Vietnam and Article 6bis of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property.

Previously, in 2017, the "Pham & Lien danh, figure" and "Pham & Associates, figure"  trademarks used for copyright consultancy and representation services, industrial property consultancy and representation services was recognized as a well-known trademark by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) within the framework of the project "Well-known Trademarks" co-organized by the MOST and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
