Within the framework of schedule working with the Vietnam Customs, in the afternoon of November 25, 2014, the Anti-Counterfeiting Network (React) held a symposium on “Summarizing one year after signing MOU between React and the Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department (ASID)”.

Pham & Associates’ lawyer shares its clients’ difficulties in the past years, namely, information that showing on the Notification on Suspected Imported Goods addressed to the IP holder has just consisted of poor contents such as bill of lading number, name of exporter, importer, and ports etc but not included the images of imported goods bearing the registered trademarks. Thus, the IP holder has faced many challenges when decided whether they should request the authorities to stop custom clearance or not.
