Pham & Associates met colleagues on the occasion of Asian Patent Attorneys Association 62th Council Meeting

On the evening of 18 October 2013, in the Crowne Plaza West Hanoi hotel, Pham & Associates intimately met nearly 100 colleagues coming from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hongkong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, US, France, Italy, Australia, Germany, Hungary, Russia, Sri Lanka, Finland, UK, India, Indonesia… to attend Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) 62th Council Meeting held from 19 – 22 October 2013 in the National Convention Center in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In the 04 days of the Meeting, the 06 Standing Committees of the Association including the Committees for: Anti-counterfeits, Copyright, Industrial Designs, Emerging issues about intellectual property rights, Patents, and Trademarks have been discussing various important matters ranging from building and application of policies to enforcement and handling of infringement action in some particular fields/products. A series of seminars have also been conducted, in parallel with the Meeting, for discussing hot topics among the community of IP attorneys and specialists in the region.

The Meeting has spent 01 day for attendants to join the programs for discovering the culture, history, beauty spots, human beauty of Vietnam.

This Meeting is attended by nearly 600 IP attorney/specialists as members of the Association, of which 49 are Vietnamese. Additionally, there are nearly 600 observers from 48 countries.
