Pham & Associates Represents Edrington Distillers Limited in the Assignment of “CUTTY SARK” Mark

Pham & Associates announced that it advised Edrington Distillers Limited on the assignment of “CUTTY SARK” mark to obtain the int'l Registration in Vietnam.

The international registration no. 1079510 was previously refused by the National Office of Intellectual Property (the NOIP) on the ground there was a likelihood of confusion between the mark applied for and an earlier Vietnamese trademark Registration no. 13213 of BB&R Spirits Limited. Having assigned the Vietnamese Registration from BB&R Spirits Limited to Edrington Distillers Limited, the NOIP agreed to protect the international registration in Vietnam.
