Continuation of PPH Pilot Program between NOIP - JPO for patent applications until 2022

The National Office of Intellectual Property (NOIP)  and the Japanese Patent Office (JPO) will continue PPH pilot program (PPH Program) Phase 2 in 3 years from April 1, 2019 to 31/3/2022 after completing the pilot implementation of PPH Program Phase 1 (April 1, 2016 - March 31, 2019).

IP Applications in Vietnam increased sharply in 2018.

By November 30, 2018, the NOIP has received 98,347 applications of all kinds (up 5.5% compared with the same period in 2017), of which were 57,939 applications for IP rights registration (up 8.2% compared with 2017); the patent applications for invention and utility solution increased by 16.9% and 55.6%, respectively.
